App tutorials

Short, practical guides for every core feature — from creating your first event to checking guests in at the door.

  1. 1

From your dashboard, open Events and click "Create Event" — this launches the event wizard.

  2. 2

Fill in the event name, date & time, venue and description, then add your branding and accent color.

  3. 3

Configure the registration form, notifications and payment settings your event needs.

  4. 4

Preview the guest experience, then click Publish — your event goes live and appears in your Events list.

  1. 1

Open the event from your Events list — the event page shows all management tabs.

  2. 2

Switch to the Sessions tab and click "Add Session".

  3. 3

Give the session a name, schedule, venue or speaker details and a capacity limit.

  4. 4

Optionally set a ticket price — guests can then book and pay for the session during registration.

  5. 5

Save the session — it appears immediately on the public event page and in the registration flow.

  1. 1

Open your event and go to the Registration form tab (also available as a step in the event wizard).

  2. 2

Add the fields you need — name, email, company or custom questions — and remove the ones you don’t.

  3. 3

Mark fields as required and choose the input type: text, dropdown, checkbox and more.

  4. 4

Save the form — every new guest registration now collects exactly these fields.

  1. 1

On the kiosk tablet, open the kiosk link for your event — the welcome screen greets guests.

  2. 2

Tap the "Register" action on the welcome screen.

  3. 3

Fill in the guest’s details on the on-screen form and confirm.

  4. 4

The guest is registered instantly — their QR ticket and badge are ready right away.

  1. 1

On the kiosk welcome screen, tap "Check in" to open the QR scanner.

  2. 2

Hold the guest’s QR ticket in front of the camera — the code is scanned automatically.

  3. 3

The screen confirms the check-in with the guest’s name and details — duplicate scans are blocked automatically.

  4. 4

If badge printing is enabled, the guest’s badge prints silently at the assigned print station.

  1. 1

Eventstration is a fully web-based app — there is nothing to install. Any laptop, iPad or tablet just opens a browser and signs in.

  2. 2

Open your event’s Badges tab and design your badge template: canvas size, logo, colors, guest fields and QR code — everything is positioned visually and saved online.

  3. 3

Print directly from any laptop connected to your badge printer — the browser prints single or double-sided (duplex) badges exactly as designed.

  4. 4

For tablets and iPads at the door: assign the kiosk a print station in its Kiosk Profile — a staff member’s laptop that acts as the badge printer.

  5. 5

When a guest checks in on the iPad/tablet kiosk, their badge print job is dispatched to the designated print-station laptop — which prints it automatically, or after one tap of confirmation.

Enable guest registration so visitors can sign up directly on the page.

  4. 4
